I’m the type of girl of will burst out laughing in dead silence because of something that happened yesterday. My college friends often described me as the ‘giggly queen.’ In a class, I would study with concentration. But God forbids, if there occurs anything, even slightly funny, I could never stop myself from bursting out. And let’s say if nobody else found the incident funny, I will circulate teeny-meeny chits to all classmates, just to bring to their attention, the ‘funnyness’ I went crazy at.
While I write about that time, I am overwhelmed with the thought that after all it’s just words which bring plethora of emotions along. Simple and straight words. And still, the laughter they are capable of causing, is acute.
Now that I am sharing my funny bones with you, I think it’ll be more than appropriate to start with this classic funny quote. This was actually the presidential campaign slogan of former baseball player Bill ‘Spaceman’ Lee who ran under the Rhinoceros Party ticket in 1988,
“No guns. No butter. Both can kill.”
